In 2009, after looking for a group in the Fairfax City area for sewers/knitters/quilters, etc. and not finding one quite close enough, I figured why not start one? Our group is for people looking to stitch with a group to complete all those projects we've started and not completed, and to gain inspiration from others on new projects. Our group is very diverse in experience level, age, and craft. I think that has led to the most fun! No two meet ups are ever the same.

A group that meets to talk and share their experience with yarn. Any level of yarn workers who crochet, knit, cross stitch, etc are welcome. We can help each other and hopefully foster friendships along the way. The hope is to work on at least one charity project a year such as making and donating hats, scarves or blankets to a worthy organization.
